Notification for CHO officer post
National Health Mission Karnataka has invited applications online for 3000+ posts of community health officers on a contract basis. Interested candidates who have completed B.Sc nursing/post-B.Sc nursing who are dedicated to serving the community with good health care services to the doorsteps. The last date to submit applications online is 18 October 2021. The selection of candidates is based on the candidate’s performance in a written test which is held offline. Candidates must go through the following things before they apply online.

Salary
Community health officers(CHO) will get a salary of Rs.24,200/- per month for High priority districts namely -Bidar, Bellary, Kalaburgi, Raichur, Chikkamangaluru, Vijaypura, Bagalkote, Koppala, Uttar Kannada, Shivamogga, Yadagiri, Chamarajanagara, and Gadag.
Rs.22,000/- salary will be given to CHO officers from Nonpriority districts namely- Chitradurga, Haveri, Kolar, Haveri, Belgaum, Tumkur, Mysuru, Dakshin Kannada, Mandya, Udupi, Chikkaballapur, Kodagu, Davangere, Bangalore Rural, Bangalore Urban, and Dharwad districts.
An additional amount of Rs.5000/- will be paid as a performance-based incentive against the achievement of service to all community health officers(CHO).

Educational Qualification to apply for CHO post
He/she must be a registered nurse with a minimum B.Sc nursing. The candidate should have passed graduation from RGUHS or any other recognized university, with registration done under KNC/INC only will be eligible to apply. He/She should have effective communication skills in both English and Kannada. Should have passed SSLC with Kannada as one language. Candidates should have knowledge of basic computers. Candidates who secure 40 and above in the online entrance examination, will be eligible for selection at the district level. Candidates can apply only once for any of the selected districts.
Application fee
- Application fee for both online registration and to attend selection exam is Rs.600/-
- Application fee for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen is Rs.300/-
The essential documents required to be uploaded by the candidates
- Age proof ,SSLC certificate to consider the knowledge in kannada(mandatory)
- Proof of qualification-provisional certificate and all year degree marks cards during graduation
- Proof for registration in karnataka under indian/karnataka nursing council at the time of applying to the post should be uploaded.
- Proof for community health integrated nursing bath 2020-21 final degree pass certificate.
- Caste and income certificate
- Certificates claiming reservations like – physically challenged,Ex-Servicemen,kannada medium,transgender.
- Address and ID proof: Adhaar card/ voter ID/ration card/driver’s license
- Proof for stay in karnataka.
