Educational Qualification
- Candidates who have completed a minimum of 10+2 with minimum of 50% marks from a recognized Board.
- Detailed qualifications depending on the branch and stream are present in the final notification here.

Physical Conditioning
- Must be fit to undergo tests at AFSB.
- Must be able to run one mile or 1.6 kms in 10 minutes and do 10 pushups and 3 chin-ups.
How to Apply
- Candidates must apply using the link https://careerindianairforce.cdac.in or https://afcat.cdac.in
- Click on Candidate Login and register on the site. After creation of Candidate ID, you will receive a password on your registered email-ID.
- Login again using the new credentials and select “AFCAT”; “NCC SPECIAL ENTRY FOR FLYING BRANCH”
- Click on “INSTRUCTIONS” and click on the check box to acknowledge having read and understood the instructions before proceeding to form filling.
- Fill in all the details in the online form and verify everything before clicking on the ‘Make Payment’ option.
- After making the payment, click on ‘Payment Status’ to check if payment is successful.
- Candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs. 250/- as exam fee.(NCC Special entry applicants are exempt)
Important documents to submit
- Educational documents, certificates and marksheets.
- AFCAT admit card
- Two attested photocopies of above mentioned certificates.
- Original NCC certificate (if applicable)
- NOC certificate (for State/Central Govt. or Public Sector undertakings employees)
- Original valid Commercial Pilot’s License (issued by DGCA) (if applicable)
- Inbound Railway/Bus ticket (For travelling allowance/refund)
- 20 copies of recent passport sized photos in light clothes against white background.
Important Instructions
- Any attempt to influence the selection process at any stage can lead to immediate termination of candidature.
- Candidates below 25 years must be unmarried at the start of the course. Widows/Widowers and divorcees under 25 also not allowed.
- Use or traces of narcotics is banned and candidate will be debarred if found using any.
