The Jana Sevaka pilot project is an initiative of the Government of Karnataka. It was launched on 02nd March 2019 in Bengaluru North in the T. Dasarahalli assembly constituency. This program was later expanded on 04th February 2020 by the Hon’ble CM of Karnataka to include three additional assembly constituencies – Bommanahalli, Rajajinagar, and Mahadevapura. The initiative saw further expansion on 18th January 2021 to the assembly constituency of Yeshwanthpur.
It is noteworthy that Jana Sevaka offers a total of 58 services to citizens at the moment. Moreover, Jana Sevaka has received more than 95,000 applications to date, which is a huge accomplishment not just for the government of Karnataka but also for its citizens.

- Karnataka Building And Other Construction Workers Welfare Board: Under this, you can make an application for medical assitance (Karmika Arogya Bhagya), educational assistance, marriage assistance, delivery assistance, funeral and ex-gratia assistance, issue of duplicate identity card, pension, continuation of existing registration for the next one/three years, registration with Karnataka Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.

- UIDAI: As a part of UIDAI, you can get New Enrollment for Aadhaar Card, Demographic Updation for correction or changes in the aadhaar card, mandatory biometric updation between 5 to 15 years and biometric updation.

After selecting the service, you need to fill out your name and mobile number and then go to get OTP as given in the picture below:
Once you fill out these details, you will be able to book a slot with the Karnataka Jana Sevaka Scheme.
Mobile App
In order to make your application through the mobile app, you need to download the app from the Play Store
Once you download the app, you need to follow these steps:
- Login with your details on the portal
- Go to Jana Sevaka
- Check the list of services available and choose your desired service
- After checking the details of the selected service, confirm it.
- You will see the list of available slots. Choose the one that is convenient for you.
- You will get an OTP on your registered mobile number for confirmation.
- Keep this OTP safe because you will be required to show it at the time of delivery of your service.
- Once your booking is confirmed, a jana sevaka will be assigned to you and he/she will visit your home at the mentioned time and date.
- The executive will help you fill out the application form and also with scanning and uploading if needed.
- You can pay the fee directly to the executive and you will receive the acknowledgement on your registered mobile number.
- Finally, your document will be delivered to you by the executive on your doorstep. You can also provide feedback regarding the service.
